For spring harvest direct seed as soon as the soil can be worked. Fall crops are planted in mid-late summer. They should mature around the date of the first fall frost. Plant with 12” between the rows and 4” between the plants.

JM211 Purple Top White Globe

This is an outstanding all-purpose variety turnip. The round purplish top turnip can reach 5" in diameter. Harvest in 40-60 days or when white root with purple top reaches 4"-5" in diameter. The young leaves can be cooked as greens, stir-fried or used in soup. The root is excellent raw, for pickling or cooking.
